Our Services

At Uniting Circle Multicultural Community Centre, we provide a range of services and support tailored for individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and community engagement, with a special focus on assisting new refugees from Afghanistan.

NDIS Services

We support adults and youths with special needs through personalised, high-quality care under the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme). Our team delivers more than just support — we promote independence, dignity, and comfort through a wide range of services including daily personal activities, community participation, travel and transport, and life skills training. We’re a registered NDIS provider, committed to helping individuals thrive within their communities.

Home Care Package Services

We offer tailored in-home support to help older Australians live independently and safely. Our services include personal care, meal preparation, medication management, cleaning, garden maintenance, and allied health referrals. Whether it’s assistance with daily tasks or companionship to reduce isolation, our team is here to deliver trusted, compassionate aged care through government-funded Home Care Packages.

Counselling

We provide support for individuals and families facing emotional, social, or psychological challenges especially new arrivals and refugees from Afghanistan. These services aim to promote mental well-being, offer guidance, and help clients navigate personal issues, cultural adjustments, and integration into the community.

Basic English Talking Classes

We aim to help new refugees and arrivals improve their speaking skills in a supportive environment. These classes focus on everyday conversation, pronunciation, and vocabulary, enabling participants to communicate effectively in their daily lives and integrate into the community.

Donation

Provides essential donations, including groceries, food, clothing, shoes, furniture, and other items, to support new refugees and arrivals as they settle into the community.

Social Support Services

We provide essential assistance to individuals and families, including counseling, mental health support, and access to community resources. These services aim to foster a sense of belonging and help newcomers navigate their new environment, ensuring they feel supported and connected within the community.

Health Resources

The Uniting Circle Multicultural Community Centre in Penrith provides health resources such as access to medical information, mental health support, health workshops, and referrals to local healthcare services to assist new refugees and arrivals in navigating their health needs.

Cultural Events

Cultural events at the Uniting Circle Multicultural Community Centre in Penrith aim to celebrate and showcase the diverse traditions and heritage of various communities. These events include festivals, art exhibitions, music and dance performances, cooking demonstrations, and storytelling sessions, providing opportunities for community members to share their culture and connect with others.

Job Assistance

We offer support to new refugees and arrivals by providing job assistance services, including resume writing workshops, interview preparation, and job search resources to help individuals secure employment and integrate into the workforce.

Youth Programs

Youth Programs at the Uniting Circle Multicultural Community Centre aim to engage young people from diverse backgrounds through educational workshops, recreational activities, mentorship opportunities, and leadership training, fostering personal growth, cultural exchange, and community involvement

Community Networking

Our Community Networking involves creating connections among individuals, organizations, and groups within the community to foster collaboration, share resources, and enhance support systems. This can include organizing networking events, workshops, and meetings to facilitate communication and partnerships among diverse cultural groups, local businesses, and service providers. The goal is to build a strong, interconnected community that promotes inclusivity and mutual assistance.
